I create wood-block inspired art that marries the symbolism of the tarot with the quiet routines of everyday life, like making coffee and the rituals of how we make it. I start with pencils and ink pens, before taking to acrylic and markers, and then eventually digital; I love using both traditional and digital mediums, as a way to show how art can be accessible and how artists can still create without the blasphemy of AI art. I am inspired by the diverse people that I know and the small moments I share with them that lead to all these big ideas.
Asia Noble is a self-taught illustrator and muralist. Born in the Philippines, she left to travel the world and find herself as an artist in the various homes she made for herself before settling into Barcelona. She has been drawing all her life, and at times, had to make do with various day jobs to continue to fund her pursuit of art, which have all in turn inspired her diverse and eclectic art style.
This exhibit comprises the body of work she completed for a local coffee brand, Eira's Coffee, over the span of one year and drawn in three different continents. Inspired by the illustrative symbolism of the Tarot and her love for woodblock style printing and engraving, she created this set as a labor of love and it has provided, at times, a good counter balance to her no-frills sometimes-job as a data scientist.

I have no illusions of living forever, but my print quality will outlast me by at least 80 years with proper care! All prints are done specially on Hahnemühle William Turner 310gsm paper by my local trusted specialist in Spain.
